Adding Notes

Technicians can use the Notes feature in FieldEx to add important remarks, observations, or updates directly into a job or task. This helps keep all relevant information in one place and improves team communication.

Once added, notes become visible to both field technicians and planners, making it a convenient way to share updates, raise concerns, or inform the office of on-site findings. The Notes section acts like a lightweight chat history helping teams stay aligned and responsive in real time.

How to Add a Note


Path: Module > Job Order > Notes

  • Open the assigned job or task.

  • Tap the Notes section.

  • Enter your note. This can include status updates, field observations, or special instructions.

  • Tap Save to log the note.

Tip: Notes function as a shared communication log between technicians and planners. Use them to flag issues, request input, or provide updates that may not fit into checklists or status changes.
