When a new job has been assigned, you will be notified through the mobile app. Tap on the job to view its details, including the customer, asset, and tasks involved. FieldEx ensures that technicians are always kept up to date by sending real-time push notifications for newly assigned work orders.
Useful Pre-requisites
Ensure you are logged into the FieldEx Mobile App with the correct Technician access level.
Notifications must be enabled on your mobile device to receive job alerts.
Check that your app version is up to date to avoid syncing issues.
Receiving and Accepting Work Orders
Path: Homepage > Pending Tasks
Once a new job is assigned to you, you will receive a mobile notification on your device.
Tap the notification or open the app to view the homepage dashboard.
Locate the Pending Tasks section, which displays all tasks assigned to you but not yet completed.
Tap the task to view its job details, including customer information, asset, and task scope.
Tap Accept to confirm that you are proceeding with the task.
If you are unable to complete the task, tap Decline and provide a reason when prompted.
