Get started fast with FieldEx Mobile. Here’s your field-ready checklist to complete jobs with speed, structure, and proof.

Mobile Tip: Everything a technician does from check-in to customer signature is tracked, synced, and converted into a full job record with no paperwork needed.

Accept or Decline Jobs


  • Technicians receive instant notifications when jobs are assigned.

  • All assigned jobs appear clearly in the mobile dashboard.

  • Jobs can be accepted or declined with a reason based on availability or condition (e.g. unavailable, already on-site).

Start Journey


  • Start the journey to the job site from within the app.

  • Travel time and distance are automatically recorded in the background.

  • Useful for performance tracking, mileage reporting, and visibility.

Scan Assets On-Site


  • Use the mobile app’s built-in scanner to scan the QR or barcode on the asset.

  • Instantly view the asset’s details, job history, and related checklists.

  • This ensures work is always done on the correct equipment.

Check-In to Start the Job


  • Tap “Check In” to confirm arrival at the job site.

  • This logs the timestamp and opens up assigned tasks and checklists.

  • Planners can track technician activity in real time.

Complete Work Steps


  • Follow the checklist steps provided in the job order.

  • Upload photos, add notes, and complete dynamic forms as needed for readings or safety confirmations.

  • All inputs are saved in real time with timestamps for every action.

Customer Sign-Off


  • Capture the customer’s signature directly from the mobile app.

  • Signature is embedded into the job record along with checklist results and photos.

  • This confirms the job was completed with client acknowledgment.

Submit and Generate PDF


  • Once signed, the technician marks the job as completed.

  • FieldEx generates a branded PDF with all job details, checklist results, images, and signatures.

  • The PDF can be emailed to the customer or downloaded from the app or web portal.
