Before closing a job, FieldEx allows you to collect a digital signature from the customer directly within the mobile app. This confirms that the work has been completed and approved on-site.
The captured signature is automatically saved to the job record and included in the Completion PDF. This ensures formal handover and helps with billing, documentation, and customer satisfaction.
How to Capture the Signature
Path: Job Order > Assigned Job Order
Open the Job Order once all work is complete.
Tap Sign & Complete.
Select the items to include in the completion form.
Ask the customer to sign on your device using their finger or stylus.
Tap Save after the signature is captured.
Generate and download the Completion PDF if needed.
Tip: If the customer requests a copy of the job summary, you can share the Completion PDF via email or messaging directly from the app after signing. |
