Asset Registry in FieldEx is where you store detailed records of every piece of equipment your business owns, rents, or services. It includes key fields such as serial number, warranty information, location, and condition, making each asset fully traceable.

Asset Tracking allows you to monitor the status, usage, location, and maintenance history of each asset in real time. This ensures accountability, supports better decision-making, and helps reduce downtime.

How to Create an Asset in FieldEx

Method 1: Manual Creation (Best for one-by-one entry)

  • Click New Asset.

  • Fill in required fields like Name, Serial No, Type, Status.

  • Add details such as Customer, Site, Warranty Dates, Location, and Equipment Info.

  • Upload a photo and click Save.

Method 2: Bulk Upload (Best for importing multiple assets)

  • Go to Settings > Data Import > Assets.

  • Download the Excel/CSV template.

  • Fill out the file with asset information.

  • Upload the file back into FieldEx.

  • Review the summary and confirm the upload.
