FieldEx allows technicians to locate assets quickly using either the search function or the transfer module. This feature is useful when you need to verify the current location of a machine, tool, or equipment in the field or in storage.
Method 1: Using the Transfer Module
Path: Module > Transfer > Locate
Open the Transfer module.
Select Locate Asset.
Choose the asset from the list or scan its QR/barcode using the in-app scanner.
The system will display the asset’s current location, including bin name, site, or storage zone.
Method 2: Using the Search Function
Path: Bottom Bar > Search > Locate Asset
Tap the Search icon at the bottom of the homepage.
Select Locate Asset.
Choose the asset from the list or scan its QR/barcode using the in-app scanner.
The system will show the current asset location including bin and zone details.
