Spare parts can be added to jobs by both Planners and Technicians, whether using the web system or the mobile app for added convenience and flexibility.
Technicians can manually select spare parts from the list or scan them directly using QR or Barcode. This ensures that all used materials are properly recorded for inventory tracking, billing, and future maintenance history.
Useful Pre-requisites
Ensure the job is assigned and you have access to the spare parts tab.
Parts must be available in your assigned bin or linked warehouse.
If using scan method, confirm that QR/Barcode labels are attached to the physical items.
Using Parts in a Job - Manual Selection Method
Path (Manual): Module > Job Order > Spare Parts tab
Open the Job Order.
Go to the Spare Parts tab.
Tap Add Spare Part.
Select a part from the list or use the search function.
Enter the quantity used.
Repeat as needed for multiple items.
Tap Save to confirm your usage.
Using Parts in a Job - QR / Barcode Scanning Method
Path (Scan): Module > Job Order > Spare Parts tab > Add > Scan
Open the Job Order.
Go to the Spare Parts tab.
Tap Add Spare Part, then tap the Scanner icon.
Scan the spare part’s QR or Barcode label.
If registered, the part info will auto-fill. Enter the quantity used.
Tap Save to confirm.
Using Parts in a Job - Utilize Spare Parts from My Bin
Path: Module > Job Order > Spare Parts tab > Utilize Spare Parts
From the Spare Parts tab, tap Utilize Spare Parts.
Select the transfer type: User, Bin, or Location.
Choose the source and enter the quantity to transfer into the job.
Tap Transfer to complete the update.
